Hertz Asia | Travel and COVID-19 Prevention Measures
In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Hertz Philippines is taking precautions to protect customers when travelling and reduce the spread of the virus. In line with the World Health Organisation's basic protective measures, Hertz locations have put in place the following:
- Hand sanitizer is available at all Hertz counters - we encourage all staff and customers to use regularly.
- Frontline staff on duty will wear surgical face masks.
- Staff regularly check their own temperature. If staff have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, they are advised to seek medical care immediately. Customers are being encouraged to do the same.
- Furthermore, extra attention is being paid to interior detailing of all Hertz vehicles. This includes the use of professional sanitising and cleaning products after every vehicle rental.
- More frequent cleaning of areas with high human contact, such as counters.
